Carissa grew up in Adel, IA and graduated from ADM High School in 2014. She continued her education at St. Ambrose University for both her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2018 and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. Carissa has experience working in a variety of physical therapy settings including home health, outpatient rehab, and acute care. She is passionate about working with various musculoskeletal and vestibular disorders and especially enjoys working with the geriatric population. She loves to help keep people healthy and active throughout their lifespan. In her free time, Carissa enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, playing board/card games, biking, and going for runs with her pup Fynn.
